Does linux support HIGHMEM on architectures with aliasing VIPT cache?

I've been smoking sources for a day now, but I can't find a definitive answer.
Here is a list of architectures that support HIGHMEM: arm, frv, metag, microblaze, mips, mn10300, powerpc, sparc, tile, x86, xtensa. Of these, aliasing VIPT cache can definitely be on arm, metag, mips and xtensa. It is possible that on powerpc, sparc and tile, I did not understand. Of these, all four clearly do not support the HIGHMEM + aliasing VIPT cache combination. What can you say about the others (powerpc, sparc and tile)? What is the difficulty?

MIPS cache combo seems to have been fixed:
www.linux-mips.org/archives/linux-mips/2012-04/msg...
although their wiki still says that not supported.
