Does it make sense to use the Vue Composition API now?

Hello. Interested in the new Composition API for Vue, it looks cool. But at the same time, it is not clear whether it is worth using it right now, in the current project, or is there any point in waiting for the release of the 3rd version of Vue? After all, theoretically, the syntax can still change.
And one more thing - is it normal to use both Composition and Option api at the same time, or is it nonsense and is it better to stick to one thing?
