Does it make sense to transfer an online store from a self-written conf to Wordpress?

All good. Such situation.
There is an online furniture store (about 300 products) written in django.
Due to the complexity of support (the need to have vps + backups, the complexity of development, since they are not a top proger, problems with SEO), I still want to switch to CMS. I am considering the option of switching to Wordpress, as the easiest to support + a large availability of ready-made templates. I say right away that I have even more of a catalog than a store, there will be no payment through the site, and the basket is essentially not needed. Need only tru design and easy to maintain.
The following questions are of concern:
1) How are things going with SEO on WP?
2) How are things going with speed. The load on the online store is still somewhere around 300 uniques per day, if everything goes well, then I expect somewhere around 600-700 uniques by the end of the year.
3) What other downsides does WP have?

1) How is SEO on WP?

Considering the question, install the Yoast SEO plugin, configure it and that's it. The next step is to write texts.
Any modern hosting will get you 700 uniques per day even without vps. The main thing is to correctly configure the caching plugin.
A huge amount of poorly supported nonsense from haters. Get ready.

1) excellent, © Yoast SEO
2) it will hold
3) there are no cons for a simple catalog
But if you have a large catalog and SL, then I would recommend opencart.
