Does it make sense to pore over DDR3 overclocking?
Hello!
There is an old memory, the base frequency is 668 MHz. I overclocked it to the maximum possible value in the BIOS, and, judging by the data of Aida64, the delay time decreased and almost all indicators accelerated, but, let's say, the PC began to work worse: it seems that friezes appeared and loading of something takes a long time longer (perhaps it just seemed, because I didn’t use a PC for a long time with such settings).
Experienced overclockers, do you think it makes sense to overclock such memory, look for minimum timings, etc.?
