Does it make sense to make an online store on Django?

Good afternoon.
I would like to clarify this moment with the signs. Does it make sense to make an online store on Django? Or if you ask globally in Python? Or it's easier and more efficient to use PHP and proven methods.
I'm not talking about test projects and small shops, but about normal shops with a high degree of automation?

Checked all the solutions that are on the market. Everything is very damp, unstable and quite narrow. Therefore:
If you need a stable and working online store, then it is better to take Bitrix.
If some really big and global project is being made, there are resources and a team, then it can be implemented in Python (not necessarily in Django).

@Terras

For a programmer, if this is his main language - yes. For the customer - no, since the end result is the same, and development and support are more expensive.
