Does it make sense to learn mobile app development on Rhodes?

Rhodes is a framework that allows you to create multi-platform mobile applications in Ruby. Judging by the description, it looks very tempting, but, as I understand it, it is not very popular, which is why the question arose.

I was interested in this question a year ago. Something is committed, developed. You can spend a couple of days getting acquainted, the thing is quite interesting, the idea is good, it is not difficult to master, especially for those who are familiar with Rails.
Of the minuses: all tools are free, but when distributing software, you need to pay a license fee for each device, in general, this is more of a corporate topic.
