Does it make sense to have an SSD board over a 2.5" SSD when running Ultra HD 4K?

Actually, there is an SSD in 2.5 " format, and there is an SSD board . The difference in read speeds is huge (555 vs 1400 MB / s, respectively), but does it make sense to choose a board, given the fact that the drive will need to work with Ultra HD 4K and video design?

Yes, it does, and it's very big. Hardware-wise, such a scarf is an already assembled RAID of two SSDs.
Kingston itself is seen as an integrated RAID controller, you can add a software RAID from two of them if you wish :( A plextor m7e should come out - then it will be clear how where and what.
Ideally, it is also desirable to have a dual-processor motherboard with XEONs.
