Why bios does not see hdd when connecting ssd?

Hello. Faced a problem. Bought ssd m2. I connected asus prime b350 plus to the motherboard, after starting the bios only recognizes ssd.
Hdd at the same time works and spins, but is not recognized by the BIOS. I tried to connect to another sata slot, but the motherboard still does not see it. What to do?

Which ones exactly? On your board, m.2 blocks two SATA at once, as stated in the manual
The M.2 Socket shares bandwidth with the SATA_5/6 ports, and therefore the SATA_5/6
ports cannot be used when a SATA/PCIe mode M.2 device is installed.

These ports are next to the memory slots.
4 connectors at the bottom of the board - should work.

Try disconnecting all HDDs and connecting only SSDs first...
If it doesn't work:
1. Update the BIOS to the latest version
2. Check compatibility
