Taxonomy

Does it make sense to create your own taxonomies in WP?

Judging by this article https://truemisha.ru/blog/wordpress/register_taxon... "That is, it turns out that by using the mentioned function, you can create absolutely independent categories (or tags), with a separate interface."
But I didn't see the new interface. While it is not clear to me why I need a new Platform taxonomy that repeats the interface of the Rubric taxonomy. As for me, the Platform taxonomy is just a rubric of the Rubric taxonomy that will have its own subcategories. Or am I not understanding something?

The meaning of this, for example, is this: you need to create a site on which the future admin (who does not understand anything in the code at all) should add companies and descriptions to them. Well, for example, the products of these companies.
Create taxonomies, register the type of posts and the person will have a link to add the Company in a prominent place.
I won’t say that this is a mandatory thing, but very often it is necessary to make sure that a person who does not understand anything at all about this can add what he needs in a couple of clicks. Sites are still different.
