Does it make sense to create virtual machines in Proxmox with UEFI support?
Now most Proxmox virtual machines are loaded through a regular legacy BIOS (SeaBIOS). Does it make sense to transfer existing and future virtual machines to UEFI?

There is no point. In terms of performance, they are the same.
The only case where you might need UEFI is a guest Windows 10 and forwarding a GPU into it.
In other cases, the standard SeaBIOS will suffice.
