Does it make sense to buy a MacBook Air 256 8gb m1 or MacBook Pro 8gb m1 for web design?

Hello. I work as a junior designer and gradually try programming. I am looking to buy a MacBook Air 256 8gb m1 or MacBook Pro 256 8gb for work. A few questions arose:
1) Will the laptop be stupid when working simultaneously in: figma, Adobe illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Chrome with 20 tabs?
2) How much RAM does each of the programs I mentioned above consume?
3) Will this poppy with 8 gigs of RAM in 3 years be able to open only figma and 20 tabs?

Run this whole set and see how much memory, if around 6, then it will be smart. In addition, the best option is to go to the owner of such a machine and try it on your data.

It all depends on how you like to work and how you feel about the machine:
figma will be the most gluttonous in terms of RAM, I have one small project that takes 3-4gb ram
Chrome and tabs are all very relative, if for example you have a tilde constructor open on one tab , it can also consume 1GB (1 tab), so you can't guess.
Illustrator under M1 only through rosette, Photoshop in beta
If you want to keep all applications open all the time, RAM will not be enough.
Mac will use swap, although it is fast, but there are blunts for 1-2 seconds, it annoys me personally and this is not an option (my subjective opinion) ... For some, such a delay is nothing, for me it is an eternity)

Hello. If you are going to do front-end development, you will need at least 16gb of RAM.
Running figma, node.js server (to run gulp or webpack *for automation), code editor (2-3 windows), 5-6 browser windows (where half will be open dev tools) (*a set of medium middle programs for routine frontend development) eat at least 12-13gb of RAM.
If the budget is limited, look at the secondary market, namely the firmware models from the 13th year.
