Does it make sense to break a multi-themed site into separate sites by subject?

Good afternoon, a question of this order, the site has not yet been made, but in order to avoid errors that may appear in the future, and it's not too late to ask. I have many articles on various topics, i.e. technology, space, medicine, etc. Does it make sense to post these articles on one site (under one domain) or is it better to divide them into subdomains and publish the relevant information on your own subdomain?
when I say a lot of articles, then for each topic there are more than 200 pieces.

If they can be combined according to some parameter, then one site is better. If they are completely different and do not fit approximately the same audience, then it would be better to divide them into separate ones.
