Does ipod touch sound good?
Actually, I’m interested in the opinion of the habra community on this matter: I’m choosing a player, now I want an apple, but I doubt about the sound (there are too many not the best reviews), I happened to listen to music on it without loss but with native ears - I wasn’t impressed, just like the limit seems strange at 20 kHz per sound frequency, does anyone have experience with it, along with good acoustics?

You need to try it personally, since sound quality is a very subjective thing. If I say that the sound is good, this does not mean that you will like it and vice versa (tested with many comrades on a large number of headphones and speakers). Well, the quality of the iPod should be enough, IMHO the difference is already purely psychological.
1. Why do you need a frequency greater than 20 kHz? Do you have perfect hearing? And where did you find such information?
2. Native ears - are they the ones that come with the kit? If yes, then throw them out immediately.
In general, it all depends on the ears. In our AppleStore you can listen to Monster Beats by Dr. Dre. Here you can hear the real sound with them.
It’s interesting, people who think that I doubt Apple’s technology are minus me?) if I have a macbook)
I have an IPOD touch 4G + Sennheiser overhead top ears (I forgot the model unfortunately).
the sound for the player is mediocre (which is already dumb), but compared to the sound of the house, you immediately feel its wretchedness.
in general, if Monsieur is a music lover, I would not highly recommend an apple. I myself won it in the competition, if I had bought it for my own money, I would have been very upset =)
Depends on the installed DAC. Some have Cirrus, some Wolfson. The latter are better, but judging by the information on specialized forums, Apple smoothly switched to Cirrus. The fifth generation iPod is considered the best in quality. As an option, there are external DACs that connect to iPods.
The sound is mediocre, the same level as most mainstream players like Cowon and Sandisk. If the headphones are not too high-end, then it is quite suitable.
But higher class ears will show you all the shortcomings of this player. The difference between iPhones / iPods and players of the Teclast T51 / Colorfly CK4 class is immediately audible on adequate headphones. And it's big enough.
Native headphones are completely pop, suitable for music of the “umts-umts-umts” genre on the bus, on the way to work.
On good acoustics, it will not work to distinguish one digital equipment from another by ear, this is the placebo effect basically (or some kind of completely dead equipment, damaged wires, etc.)
All of the above have already been said, it is difficult to catch the difference between apples and wolfmans. Everything depends on the ears HERE - the best option.
