Does Habr need articles about the concept of "Internet of Things"?
Actually, I myself am personally engaged in developments in the field of the Internet of Things.
I recently found out that most of my friends have no idea what it is.
On Habré, as it turned out, no one writes anything about this either. And in general, in Russia, for some reason, almost no one pays attention to this issue. As a result, it caused a desire to publish a number of articles on this issue in the hope that someone will find it interesting and useful :)

Why ask? If you think that there is something interesting to say to the community - write.
Personally, I first learned about this concept just after your "push".
Apparently, this is quite consistent with the "IT" theme of the site. Therefore, if you have practical experience in the field, it will be interesting to read a clear explanation of what it is and what you personally (approximately) work on.
I will only allow myself to advise that the first article should not be very large, but be sufficiently complete - so that there are neither “many letters”, nor the feeling that you are artificially breaking the material into parts (for the sake of rating, karma, or something else).
Good luck!
Write, at one time my article on the Semantic Web aroused interest, it turned out that there are many enthusiasts who are interested in these things. And for 3 years a lot of things have developed in this area.
Internet of Things is a buzzword, we don't have "startups" for it yet, so they don't write ;-). And the one who wants to, and so everything connects to everything through everything, in DIY on Habré there are enough topics “in the spirit”. That's all for what you need even more, write! ;-).
