Does google recaptcha v2 have 100% auto-spam protection?

I put recaptcha v2, before that there was private spam. Spam is very rare these days, but it does exist. Usually spam is in English. Did I somehow put it wrong or the second version does not provide 100% protection?
(The form is not sent without a checkmark, a message does not come from the server without captcha validation)
