Does Figma require third-party layout software?
Switching from Sketch to Figma.
In Sketch, I usually uploaded my design for layout designers on Zeplin.
How is this in Figma?
Will you need something like Zeplin or will the layout designer be able to directly take all the data from Figma itself?

Additional software is not needed.
You can just directly throw a link to the entire project ( example ), which opens in modern Chrome and Firefox (I have never tried Safari) You
can set up team access for collaboration You
can export to JPG, PNG
You can export the project file (. FIG)
Update: if you give a link, the layout designer will not be able to see the properties, colors of objects, it will not be possible to export icons, pictures, etc. Therefore, the best option is to work together or file (if the design does not undergo further changes).
update. In 2021, you can already safely watch everything, etc. without editing rights
