Does extend (adding new domains to an existing certificate) affect Letsencrypt limits?

I made an SSL certbot for two domains, example.com and example2.com.
Now I want to add example3.com to the same certificate (they have the same nginx config). And tomorrow another example4.com and so on.
I tried it, he gave me something about extend and renew, but the question is not clear to me, i.e. did he regenerate the certificate and renew it for old domains at the same time? So this affects the rate limit for those domains?

Changing a certificate is always its regeneration. You cannot change an existing certificate.
