Does Core NFC have lower-level undocumented features?

Core NFC provides essentially only one function - to read the entire NDEF, while displaying a "popup" with text on the screen.
Are there any undocumented functions (for test purposes), for example:
1) read only a certain range of data (namely, to physically request a range from the tag / card emulation)
2) read without using the GUI (without showing popup)
3) (I want a lot) write down the tag
4) etc.
?
