Does Catalyst 14.4 display the graphics card model inaccurately?

After updating the graphics card driver, my HD8750M model is showing as AMD Radeon HD8600/8700M

Tell me is this normal? It just seems to me that the performance of the video card has decreased.

In general, it's okay. But 14.x is a pretty buggy branch so far. Very often, the computer goes into a BSOD due to an error in the drivers when playing Flash movies and viewing HTML5 videos. I had to recently roll back to 13.x until they fix everything, because I got tired of stable BSODs every ~ 2 days :)

Everything is fine, the video card is the 8700M series. There are minor differences between specific models.
