Does blockchain solve the trust problem?
Do blockchain and smart contract applications really solve the problem of trust if an oracle is required to interact with systems outside the blockchain - and this is a third party that needs to be trusted?

There are no silver bullets.
You talk about the "trust problem" in a general way, as if this problem can be solved AT ALL. If they talk about the problem of trust, then it is necessary to stipulate the trust of whom to whom (or what).
Abstract applications on smart contracts cannot solve any problems, even abstract ones. Especially abstract ones. This is how the world works.
If you have a chain and some trick (for example, an indestructible enchantment) solves the issue of trust in one of its links, this does not mean that the entire chain will become indestructible.
If the adjacent link breaks or the eyelet to which the chain is attached breaks, or the chain slips out of your hands ... all these "Black Swans" are risks and must be taken into account. If you have strengthened with a spell the weakest link that used to break, then, obviously, there will be a little more trust in the entire chain and the chain may break in another place.
But it is foolish to talk about such things in absolute abstract categories.
