Does anyone need a free arpeggiator?

I have an idea: to make a free arpeggiator, for jackd. Heaped up and awesomely advanced, like Korg's karma. Even, in fact, there is a vision, understanding and experience - I can do this.

The question is, does anyone need it?

IMHO, if you have time - do it anyway.
For you - experience, plus an extra project in the piggy bank during employment.

It would be cool. As I understand it, something is being thought about that uses jack-midi for input-output, that is, with this arpeggiator it will be possible to upgrade any midi synth: even software, even hardware? And in realtime it will be possible to use?
