Does an aborted install count towards my iTunes Connect app or game installs?
That is, the situation is this, for example, you have an Application or a game in the Apple App Store, which/-th in turn is installed, after that you see the number of installations in iTunes Connect. The question arose, but are installations that were interrupted and then not resumed, i.e. I clicked to install, entered appleID / password, the installation started and suddenly the connection was broken, for example, and as a result it was not installed (there was no connection for a long time)? Does this (incomplete installation) count as an installation that will later show up in iTunes Connect?
Thank you.

Following the banal logic, Apple counts the number of purchases as the number of installs. And since most likely their system does not distinguish between purchased applications and free. And therefore, since the withdrawal of money occurs at the moment the "buy" button is pressed, then in order to increase the installation counter, it is enough for them to count the number of these transactions, and there it has already been established or not, I think they do not care, although Apple, for sure, as befits one from the "Big Brothers" can collect statistics on the fact of installation as well. This is all IMHO.
As far as I remember, the application (for iTunes) is considered installed from the moment the user clicks on the "install (buy)" button. It doesn't matter if he uploaded it or not.
