Does a game designer need such a simulator to create levels for games like Tower Defense?

I am a UX/UI designer and my partner is a developer. We have never dealt with games, and then we decided to make a game like Tower Defense (our favorite genre) at a hackathon. Creating a game turned out to be a very interesting activity, and now there is the first version, so to speak , of the "simulator for creating levels" .
Here you can feel it: tdlab.azurewebsites.net
Then we thought that we could put it in the public domain so that any beginner or maybe an experienced game designer could practice creating levels.
- Share your opinion on this matter?
- Would you use such a simulator?
- If so, what else needs to be added to it?

Why not file a TD constructor?
I think "Wave Size" would be more fun to do as a list. There is a spawn point for mobs and this point contains the number of the wave (in order to be able to set, for example: on the first wave, mobs go only from one point, to the second from another, or two at once), the name of the mobs and their number (1, "Orcs" , 24; 2, "Fighters", 12; etc.).
In general, for such purposes, it would be cool to make not just a unit editor (towers, mobs), but a kind of manager, for more specificity in attacking towers, speed and life of mobs, etc.
And so, it's not even bad, I like it)

- If so, what else needs to be added to it?

- Don't allow stacking towers on top of each other
- When you click on an existing tower - allow you to drag it.
- Right click - turret removal

I really appreciate your work and I'm glad that there are such people!
I want you to read about prototyping a game world in Unity3D.
Perhaps you will find everything you dreamed about there.
