Docker for Frontend developer - is it necessary?
Hello, I work as a workbench-front on a galley with Bitrix and cs-cart to a greater extent.
In my spare time, I practice Vue on small freelance jobs.
Here I have a question (and not only): in my understanding with Docker, deployment and any work with the server, and maybe even CI / CD, the backender is engaged (in a place where there is no DevOps, but it is not on the galley ). My backender at work is not something that understands all these things, and from here difficulties arise, sometimes you have to dig somewhere yourself and somehow get out. In general, does the Front need to know all this? Or is my task to steal data from the API, spit it out into the markup and continue drinking smoothies?

In general terms: it would be nice to understand what it is, to be able to run the container, go into it, read the logs, ... Deep knowledge of docker for the frontend is rather rare, so they can significantly increase your market value.
But specifically in your case problems with the backend) Docker and nginx are his area of responsibility
