Do you use multiple mailboxes and phones?

As soon as I started developing, the number of new people in the environment increased significantly. Accordingly, you have to share your contacts with customers and partners.

I thought about whether it is worth getting new access points designed for work? For example, when registering on Upwork, there was a recommendation to indicate your work, and not your personal mailbox.

Do you use one phone/email or several?

Of course.
One box of the main mail - from it there is a correspondence with trusted people. By the way, it is physically under my control (in the sense of the server - the piece of iron on which it is stored - mine)
One mailbox for correspondence with external contacts who do not seem to be spammers, but I don’t want to give the main mailbox. It's the one listed on the profile.
A couple of boxes on Russian sites for testing mail - rambler, yandex
A couple of boxes on gmail - for complete crap and spam, for the phone, for registrations on foreign servers.
Two phones - according to the same principle - one is the main one, I have it since 2001, the second is for mention in announcements

When I was actively freelancing, I came up with a pseudonym for myself, started a mailbox under it and worked. The phone was my usual one, but when they called and called me by my pseudonym, it was immediately clear that it was from freelancing.
It was pretty funny. But it was in the wild times, when there were no problems with withdrawing money to Qiwi / Yandex / WebMoney - there were no identifications. Now I would not dare to do so.
But having a separate mailbox and telephone is a good idea.

it is obvious that from the point of view of convenience for a person, you need to use one email and one phone
, everything else is from the evil one and more stupidity than convenience
, many emails and phones are needed for completely different reasons

I believe that over time, all experienced freelancers / project specialists are switching to one phone and e-mail. For very highly paid specialists, this is just a must-have, because serious customers do not want to communicate with incomprehensible people. It is convenient for everyone, contact becomes a value. A young inexperienced freelancer always gives out at least a vague e-mail ala [email protected]
