Do you need translation of recommendations?
I work with different clients, both Russian-speaking and English-speaking ... Now I decided to collect recommendations from clients (as it should be with seals, signatures, etc.). Of my Russian-speaking clients, there is a part that does not know English at all, and I wondered what to do with the language ... Options that I see:
1. Leave recommendations in Russian, and if the client is English, let him hire a translator who will read it.
2. Take over the translation and ask clients to sign it, put stamps, etc. The result will be exactly the same recommendation but in English. But here I see a number of disadvantages:
- asking the client to sign a piece of paper that he cannot read very good. well
- if a new client wants to call the old one to ask about the period of cooperation - they simply will not understand each other.
3. Take over the translation, but provide it to clients in a format without seals, signatures and with a note that this is just a translation.
What is the right thing to do in such a situation?
PS I understand that recommendations play more of a "bonus" role than a "main factor" when concluding contracts, but I would like to resolve this issue
