Do you need an article about the factors affecting HDD reliability?

Asking the question of the effect of temperature on the state of the HDD, I stumbled upon a study by Google employees dated 2007. The study highlights the main factors affecting the viability of the HDD and the degree of their influence. The authors consider their main trump card to be a huge fleet of hard drives, which in terms of volume is commensurate only with what the manufacturers themselves have, as well as those conditions that only the end user can provide. Everything, of course, is in English.

A cursory search on Habr did not reveal an already existing translation. If the topic is interesting, I will translate and post it.

Starov's research IMHO (published in 2007, and infa something even earlier, HDD is not the same). And the factors themselves have changed and the statistics are no longer so useful.
But IMHO translation will never hurt, just look for whether there is such a translation in Ru-Net already.
