Do you need a monitor with a billion colors?
Hello, I was just reading about monitors and wondered: do web designers need a monitor that transmits 1 billion colors? The essence of my thought is that the end user will have a different picture and the designer's idea will be distorted.
As an option, take 1 professional monitor and one average (for sure there are some statistics, studies), so that the designer can clearly understand how the client will see it already during the drawing process.
What do you think?

being able to expand the color gamut is always better than NOT being able to.
If you work for the web, turn on SRGB coverage, and when you need to do something for print or magazines, for example, you can switch the mode and expand the coverage.
The number of colors is not as important as the calibration of the monitor, which is done by a few.
I think take which one is convenient for you, since color reproduction is different even for average monitors)
If it’s really easy to look without delving into the intricacies of color reproduction:
there are matte,
glossy,
retina
, etc.
I think it all depends on what you're working with. If you are engaged in printing and designing what will be printed later, then it is better to take a monitor that will display what is being printed as close as possible. And if this is the design of something electronic, such as websites, then the most common one will do.
