Do you need a cloud service to synchronize a network folder or drive?
Good afternoon!
We raise for win 7 users a grid with network storage (win server 2008).
Users sometimes migrate. Then, when logging in on someone else's computer in the home network, he is shown a network folder (disk).
I would like to use some kind of service, such as dropbox (user friendly), in order to synchronize part of this network folder with cloud storage, plus access to the cloud through different devices. But dropbox does not understand that the network folder has changed and does not start synchronization. A bunch of dropbox + synctoy on the task scheduler every few minutes seems like crutches.
Tell me something please.
Ps Actually a project for schoolchildren and teachers, in total there are more than 800 users. Paid versions are also possible.

Put the desired folder in Dropbox itself or Google drive or Yandex drive, and in the place where it should be in the file system, make a hard link to it. If I understand your request correctly, you will get exactly what you need - an arbitrary folder and automatic synchronization.
Google Drive will most likely not work - because. it shares the files you specify to it. Those. there the logic is this - I can provide anyone with a shared file, they can edit it - if they have permissions, but if the user does not have a Google account, then he will not be able to upload and share his files. Those. it's still not a network drive ... All these SkyDrives, Googledrives and Y.Disks are just cloudy flash drives.
So either dropbox with crutches, or simply and angrily - buy hosting with ftp access. Or search more...
