Designers, do you use git and how does it simplify the process?

like any version control system, it gives you control over the development process.
Have you ever seen subfolders like version1, version2 ... version 23 in your project folder? Well, or maybe you have a team of designers and need to somehow synchronize the work?
if so, then you already need a version control system.
Well, yes, it’s more convenient for me as a developer, since I always know where to see the latest version of layouts.
