Do various CMS have native user registration functionality?

Hello. I recently started learning php and wondered if cms systems (in particular: WordPress and MODX) have the initial function of creating personal user accounts. For example, for WooCommerce-WordPress there is a ready-made solution, but, for example, if I create something like a blog on WP, is it possible to register somehow and so that authorized users can write comments and leave posts on their own? I understand that it is possible to write all this manually from scratch, but so far I am not able to do this, so I am looking for alternative options.
Same question for MODX. I want to create a small (test) online store on it and generally get to know this CMS better. How personal user accounts are created there (the process of placing orders through the user account, payment, etc.).

In order to leave comments, you need to log in

WordPress was originally conceived as a blog, and the functionality dances from this. Registration and authorization is by default. Comments by default. To write posts, it is enough for users to set the author role. But all this will be done in the WP admin panel itself (although users with roles below the administrator will not see the entire admin panel, but only the part where they are allowed access). If you need a "personal account" on the front, then you will either have to cut it yourself (as they did in WooCommerce), or select a plugin. There are a lot of plugins for this business, eyes run wide. Both paid and free.

Modx + Office

Initially, it was for an online store, but I think it can be shoveled for other needs.

Both tsms have the basic functionality that interests you.
But wordpress bottom! Learn modex, for sites of medium complexity with a head and the solution can be implemented as you like ... Wp will not allow this.
