Do Russian law enforcers have access to gooole servers?
Good afternoon.
Tell me the way how to properly organize the storage and protection of data.
I work in a small company, and it so happened that I became the head of computers. The set of offenses for Russian companies is quite standard - gray salary, tax evasion, cashing out, bonuses and kickbacks, unlicensed software.
Now there are a dozen laptops, there is no and no need for a single server on the local network, few people sit in the office, the work is traveling (a logistics company).
At the moment there is a mix of services. Mail.ru, yandex.ru. Virtual disks yandex, mail, google, dropbox (used for backup). Systems from Windows Xp to 10ki. The main messenger is skype and viber.
I am familiar with the recent experience of a friendly company (out of greed and stupidity, they fell into the return of the left VAT), when the tax and FSB had all the data from the mail and mail.ru virtual hard drive a day after the start of the investigation. I would like to avoid such a situation.
So far the plan is this:
1. The password is 20+ characters everywhere.
2. Encrypt all trucryptom hard drives.
3. Mail and virtual disk from google
4. Fox browser or chrome.
4. Telegram messenger.
Do you think these protection measures are enough?
Does google give out user data at the request of Russian law enforcement agencies?
PS Please stop mentioning the soldering iron. Please describe only your experience, or your friends.

Google gives out.
There is mega.co.nz - they do not work in the Russian Federation, so they do not issue them.
But no one canceled the soldering iron, do not forget.
So it's better to strain with real problems - unlicensed software. The unix options should definitely be similar. For for this they can pack for a long time and nothing will help.
want to be protected? and at the same time use services????? rave. This is stupid to say the least. Use all your ... and nobody really canceled the soldering iron. A couple of brave guys will come to visit you and make the offer that you yourself will be glad to hear in your situation. There are no morons
You understand what your problem is - you think that you can break the law, but the authorities cannot, and you are trying to "hide" by building protection based on this. But this is actually not the case, and the soldering iron is mentioned precisely for this reason - the authorities will not be engaged in technical hacking - the soldering iron is simpler, faster and more reliable. You yourself will hand over all your passwords, write down all the storage methods, etc.
So don't be foolish. It is quite possible that Google will also give up - why does it need problems with Russian laws - especially since soon checks on the storage of PD will begin.
Mail tuta.io They promise
to add the use of their gpg keys.
Cloud mega
Browser fox
If there was Linux, then dm-crypt encryption and the widespread use of gpg.
I'll just give you a recommendation - get out of there. The defense will at most somewhat complicate the investigation, but a considerable part of the data, quite sufficient for an indictment, will be obtained even without fighting it. And with such a zoo, something from the "protected" one will certainly be able to get it. And yes, my experience makes me doubt that this whole set is standard.
Actually, you were right. You are only responsible for the software there. Install free software. For other cases, you can go as a witness as "computer chief", but it's not far from a witness to an accomplice. If you want to work long and stable, it's better to find another job.
