Do programs on Windows 10 work when the computer is locked?
Let's say I locked the computer with the Win + L key combination. Do programs continue to work in this state? Provided that the transition to sleep mode is generally disabled.

They work. And where will they go? Services in the background are running. Windows on the desktop hang.
If remote access via RDP is enabled, you can even connect to a locked machine over the network and continue working.
