I did this for a paid application. November 2017
I was approached by some dude compiling a selection of super discount applications for the application built into Sony devices.
Before the action - about 5k paid installations.
For a week, the price is 0, it was placed in some promo collection for Sony devices.
110k free installs.
There was an expectation that after the return of the price, the application would be bought more often, as it would soar to the tops.
Nothing like this. Change of jumps after at the level of error.
So, I consider it as free organic one-time traffic.
About 30k of those users are still using the application and may have noticed my others.
