Do I need to specify in the application - access to the Internet connection?

I heard that if the application uses the Internet, then you need to make a privacy policy page. Otherwise, it will not pass certification in the store. I certainly do not want to create this page.
Moreover, I have a simple application. It doesn't use the internet itself.
But I want to add ads to it. After all, advertising itself is downloaded from the Internet.
And it is not clear whether the Internet connection should be indicated in the requirements for the program when my application itself does not use it. I don't want to be banned again or not certified. Thank you.

Advertising in your app? In your. The executable you distribute directly uses an Internet connection. So it must be indicated.
