Will I need to go through verification again if I decide to create a second UpWork profile, on the same mailbox, as a specialist in another field?

If you want a ban, then yes.
You can only have one personal profile on UpWork.
Indicate in the description of the current profile that you work in two areas. When submitting applications and signing contracts, you can specify different rates.

I join my colleagues, for duplication - a ban.
I don’t know if you know it or not, it’s probably not available to you yet, but Upwork implements the functionality of several specializations within one profile, I haven’t seen it myself, but other Top Rated colleagues set it up and figure it out.
