Do I need to optimize adsense in my case?

There is a conditional site, we will take its income as 100%.
It has two types of monetization from Google - manual (2 ads - the ratio of profit between them is ~ 90 to 10) and automatic.
Automatic on average brings 50-100% more than manual settings.
In the manual setting, there is an ad (one of those two), which, relatively, brings a small income (as I wrote above). It is located after the content chat and most of them simply do not read up to it.

Question: is it worth getting rid of such an announcement at all, or does it not make much sense in this case?
If I remove this ad, Google sometimes puts an automatic ad there.
