Do I need to go to university for backend development?
I want to become a junior backend developer, I already know python, django, html, js api well, after sql, git, algorithms...
And this year I'm finishing school, after that I would like to study the course, but my parents want I went to university to be a programmer.
And the faculties are there:
Software Engineering, Applied Informatics, Business Informatics, Instrument Engineering, etc.
How is it all different
Tell me, who is still right? Will uni be a waste of time for me or a good foundation?
And if not, should I take the course or continue to study on my own?

Whether uni will be a waste of time depends on what you do there.
If you participate in activities like internships / electives, make friends, teach how to learn and continue learning development in the background, it will not be a waste.
