I want to run apache + nginx. PHP mode of operation is FastCGI.

Attention, the question is: do I need to configure FastCGI? For example, the number of work processes, etc.

Or is there nothing to set up?

it is best to make PHP-FPM this is the same FastCGI but a little faster and most importantly it gives process statuses to Apache.
As for the settings, you won’t be able to especially improve performance relative to stock, plus or minus 10% in performance, so you can say that no, you don’t need to configure.
