Do I need an Internet bookmark storage service, and if so, which one?

It's a pity I didn't have the opportunity to ask this question before I started to make such a service, but better late than never ... I have a manechka to collect all sorts of information that may be useful. But at the same time, I don’t want to collect the entire Internet for my laptop, links are enough for me.
I decided to make a bookmark storage service, not a social one, which would turn into a garbage dump, but an individual one, but with the ability to share the collected links. The main feature of the service, which I consider very important for myself, is the ability to build a tree from tags. Having created, for example, the “Internet” tag, you can put in it: “Video”, “Books”, “Movies”, “Read later” and so on, and then save bookmarks by assigning these tags to them. This is similar to how you create folders inside other folders and then copy files into them.
When searching for links by the tag "Internet", you will get a list of links that have this tag ("Internet") or one of the tags nested in it ("Video", "Books", "Movies", "Read later"). And if you want to refine the query, you can select nested tags, for example, "Books": in this case, you will see a list of links that have the "Books" tag. Thus, you can gradually refine your search query by selecting sub-tags and moving from the top general tags to the more specialized ones. You can also add tags from other branches to the search query, and exclude some, narrowing the search results.
Of course, I know that there are already different bookmarking services, but I have not found a simple enough one that could be used to store your links and at the same time, which would give good options for link categorization.
I would like to know what anyone thinks about this service. If such a service, in your opinion, is needed, then what functions would be most valuable to you in it?

sorry for the harshness, but the authors of web services are already climbing out of all the cracks. everyone wants to become famous thanks to a couple of scripts of the level of school computer science. "I wrote it down in the database - then I gave it out." How many of these have been announced on Habré lately? shorts, 100,000 first pastebin.com, what else is there?
for storing and synchronizing links and personal data, there is a normal built-in functionality in opera, chrome and firefox browsers.
As for the best use of abilities - I would be glad if such service providers would direct their efforts not to gain cheap popularity, but, for example, to participate in the development of open source software products. working open drivers for devices - this would be useful. high-quality open programs that compete with paid counterparts - that's really cool. or if you still do some kind of web service, then it’s really useful, solving some actual problem, and not invented

For a long time I made a social bookmarking service in flash
, a start page like a desktop, where you can throw all sorts of links, gadgets, notes, change the background, go to friends' pages, share links =)
But then somehow I lost interest and abandoned it.
PS here is an example of bookmark storage service myfav.es/

I definitely wouldn’t become superfluous, since the same Evernote turned into a monster.
The main thing is simplicity and clarity.

I have not seen something like this in RuNet, but I know that the same digg.com is quite powerful. I agree with simplicity and reliability, this is important

I would prefer a toolbar with server data storage. But such functionality already exists in FF.
Site + toolbar - it would be quite. Would use.

I use bookmarks in Chrome, everything seems to be fine. Pros: there is synchronization. Cons: no tags or descriptions out of the box.
Now I thought that it would be nice to have a service for accessing your profile bookmarks without installing Chrome.

I use Google Bookmarks for storage + and the YAGBE chrome extension for management.
Sharing is not there, but it is rarely needed.

I have been looking for a solution for a long time so that I can put it on my server. I tried sitebar , but it seemed inconvenient to me.
For me, ideally, something like mister-wong.ru, but on my own server and with a convenient extension for firefox. So that I can mark some of the bookmarks as public, and give a link to them to someone.
How to add, please let me know, maybe it will suit me =)

The simplest Bookmark service is only personal, it will not work to share anything, only if you give your password to another user.
