Do I need an adapter to connect the SSD to the power supply?
The old ssd has an adapter and the hard drive, but on the video connection, the ssd is connected without an adapter, how to understand?

There are two main peripheral power connectors.
1. MOLEX 4 (Molex 8980)
2. 15 channel Sata for power supply
The first option is obsolete and has not been used for a long time to power hard or solid state drives.
Apparently the power supply did not have a free connector of the second type. Therefore, an adapter from the first type to the second was used to connect the ssd.
