Do I need a video card to draw in Adobe Photoshop?

Do I need a graphics card for 2D drawing in Adobe Photoshop? Will it give a performance boost?
A Wacom Intuos tablet is connected to the computer.
GeForce Asus GTX 1060 3GB card. After connecting, I did not notice a difference in the work of PS, I turned on the card in the settings. Sell or keep?
