Do I need a separate MS SQL Server for each site?

let's say I have 5 completely different sites. All of them are hosted in MS Azure. Do I need to create a virtual MS SQL Server for each site? Or it is possible to place a DB of each of 5 sites on one MS SLQ server? What is the logic of work here?

Of course, for each site it is enough to make a separate database in one server. The logic is this - enough performance - make one server.
