Angular 7 along with ASP .NET Core?

Hello everyone, I've been learning ASP .NET Core for some time now, I mainly made MVC applications, now I want to understand the essence of SPA applications and learn the front-end framework. My eye fell on Angular, as it, in my opinion, is best suited for creating front-end applications with backing on ASP .NET Core. Am I doing the right thing by learning Angular? Or is it no longer popular in 2019?

Popular mainly on large complex projects. It allows you to structure the code well, all projects on it are similar, which is why the business loves it.
It’s perfect for .NET, although in fact there is no clear dependence of the front and back, you can do it on anything.
Minus Angular - it is difficult to master, you will spend a month on it. Against a week on Vue for example. And usually the wailers speak negatively about him, from those who have not mastered it. And I switched from Vue to Angular and have no regrets.
