Do I need a Markdown WYSIWYG editor?

For my site, I wrote a visual BB code editor - WysiBB
Now I'm thinking about making a version of the editor for Markdown.
But the actual question remains. Do you need such an editor? Or what is already there is enough, and a new bike is not needed.
