Do I need a dedicated IP for a NOT signed SSL certificate?

I bought a hosting, wrote to support that they would give the rights to SSL, I need an unsigned one.
What is the probability that they will say you need to buy a dedicated IP for it?

There is no such need, each host has its own IP.
