Do I need a 1C Professional certificate for a system administrator?

Good afternoon!
I want to master 1C at the administration level, I found several courses, books.
They advised me to take the 1C Professional certificate. Do you think a system administrator needs it at all? Is it difficult to pass and how much will it cost approximately? as I understand it, you need to look for a certified center in your city?

Certificates are a controversial topic. Those who do not have them will say that this is garbage and knowledge is important, and in general he has seen a bunch of idiots with certificates. Those who have it will say that it gives + 20% to the salary.
And both will be right.

he is "needed" by the "administrator 1C", the system one - no
But at his own expense (and not really at the expense of the company) he is needed like a bicycle for a fish.

If this "system administrator", in addition to administration, wants to engage in programming under 1C, he is needed.

Of course. What will you hang on the wall in your office? Do you know how cool it is when the whole wall is hung with all sorts of framed certificates and diplomas?
Is it difficult to pass and how much will it cost approximately?
The change itself is worth a penny. But the courses are expensive, and without them you will not pass.

You are confusing the concepts of software - software and OS - operating systems.
1s is software.
The system administrator is the administrator of the system IMHO. It depends on what you call a system.
If you are a 1s administrator or a programmer, this is one thing, but even there your crusts are not needed, everything will be decided by an interview and an internship.
If you are an OS administrator, then you don't even need it. Do you think Windows administrators have few courses on Windows, and they study 1s? There are courses enough for half a lifetime. Well, or in Linux, look towards LPIC for example. enough for you to drown in those courses and knowledge, and this will have nothing to do with 1s. In 1s, if you climb, then only in programming and in a good place in accounting if you have this, as well as knowledge of accounting.
In general, I am touched by such requirements for an IT specialist when passing an exam:
During the passing of Internet testing 1C: Professional, it is prohibited:
In general, how many people do they know who will raise 1c without the Internet and without many years of experience or without notes?

Are you a system administrator or are you a 1C administrator? The first such course is like an umbrella for a fish, the second one may need it, especially if at the expense of the office :)
