Do employers rate ready-made applications in the Play Market/App Store well?

I am an interface designer. If I have a finished, working product on one of the sites, will employers value me more as a designer among other applicants (who just have a portfolio for bihans)? Or do they not care?
If important, does it affect salary/position?
And the application itself is convenient, having received feedback from people, with a convenient and beautiful interface and animations, that is, not some kind of blunder calculator or hello world

If the application brings you a steady income, then for many it will be a minus.
They can argue like this: "He needs to be paid regularly, you will start feeding him breakfast, he will not stand it."
aaparkin , even after your question, you may be approached with an offer to "work on a portfolio".
I can hardly restrain myself from painting in colors how it will be prestigious for you to make an interface for a program that is about to become the 14th honored to get on the super page in PlayMarket;)
In principle, this is the goal that I set for myself. But I think it will take a few more years to go to her.

An application published on the market will definitely be an advantage, outweighing one hundred beautiful one-time pictures on Dribbble.

Employers want to see their work with candidates, the code on GitHub for a programmer is always considered a plus in a resume.
BUT , only until the employee's projects become something significant. For example, I am a php programmer, and once upon a time, in 2008, I made my website in php for the soul. Now it has ~10,000 unique visitors per day. And when I indicated it in my resume, at 30% of the interviews I was directly asked "why are you looking for a job with such a visited site?" (I had to explain that in the entertainment field - this is not so much), there were questions of the format "how will you combine the work and development of your site?" etc.
In general, I removed the mention of him from the resume, and that was all the stupid questions ended.

Didn't find what you were looking for?
