When choosing a laptop, I ran into such a problem: according to the description, the Lenovo laptop should come with Win8.1 preinstalled, but online stores say that the laptop comes with Dos. Trying to cheat on a license?
UPD. I'll get specific: I'm interested in the Lenovo Y50-70 (59443085). Lenovo tech support told me that this model comes with Win8.1. However, the seller claims otherwise. Is it possible to steal a license?

there is a special offer with fridos. the price is much lower.
Here is an example from Amazon in Germany, where you can choose with or without win8.1, the size of the ssd:

there is with win8, 8.1, 10.
you need to contact in support of lenovo with a serial number and other numbers of this particular laptop and they will name the package.

2 years ago I myself bought g510 from dos for 500 euros. with max. complete set. such iron below 1200 without an axis was not taken from others and even now is not.
