Do 1C-Bitrix have real competitors today?
Good afternoon!
We need advice and your opinion about launching a project (an online store) on any platform (people asked for help, they ask to launch an online store on their html templates, and the deadlines are very tight). Absolutely normal and standard functions for simple online stores should be performed by the site. They do not ask for anything unique, only you need to put your own design, cutting into existing html's. At the same time (not my initiative) they have already bought a "small-business" license from 1C-Bitrix.
The problem is that I have no experience with this cms and, unfortunately, have not developed online stores. People no longer have options, they will definitely have to help, so good advice is really needed.
Is there a more popular solution than Bitrix, but not inferior in security / functionality?
Perhaps there are solutions that are less publicized in the network, but already recognized by many developers?

And then it will start. This is necessary, then it is necessary ... Weakly believe in "nothing special is needed." If nothing special, then I would do it on Modx + Minishop2. Bitrix for serious stores. CS-Cart you can see. Too bad they released the free version.
I also tend to modx, but in a good way, do it on Bitrix (I can’t stand this shit code monolith), people then spent money on a license
If you have already bought, then you have no options. Especially if you don't know modx either...
And one more thing. The finished layout is pulled onto the Bitrix from half a pint. Really.
Yes, there will be some issues with optimization and tuning, but it's easy to pull it to work.
The bare scheme is this: take down all the standard HTML layout from templates, insert your own, and take the values from $arResult
And more. Be careful when choosing a host. What can not be taken away from Bitrix is gluttony. And if you don’t want to immediately blow your head on the topic of optimization, take care of the sufficiency of resources.
Bitrix drives for stores, and indeed for the developer, the most convenient kms. Modh, I have no idea how to support it later, to fuck with the layout through the admin panel
For serious projects - there is no better Bitrix. Lots of features + integration.
For a small store, there is no better woocommerce. The only negative is the complicated integration of html into the store engine.
Opencart - ok, but not for SEO (no blog ok, cnc problems, etc.)
I don't see anything good in Bitrix. I myself work with a free CMS for DotPlant2 online stores and I don’t even want to switch to Bitrix
The topic is very cool. But here is my IMHO: I have never met a task that would be more convenient to do not in Wordpress. This does not apply to the case when there is nothing to count on the server at all, then all the logic in js.
There are 2 options here:
Try hostcms. The free version has a fully stocked store, no need to buy delivery and payment providers. as in Modix, you do not need to install and configure delivery services and payment systems, as in opencart, you do not need to install everything related to the store in WordPress.
Also included is a responsive template.
those. this is an option - install and immediately sell , start with test goods)))
Bitrix will have to be thrown out, your stories to tears)) - "paid for a small business" - who paid, even if he disentangles, for his 37200r)) and probably also in a curved template was bought in a kit, for 20 thousand, right?
in general, the local recommendations about Bitrix are striking - yes, your license allows ONE price, do you even know?))) want to show the price at a discount - or an additional 25tr for BUSINESS or cut, who will cut? right, special for 2000r per hour !!
or me for 1kr)))
There are no Bitrix competitors - www.cmsmagazine.ru/catalogue/?sk=_partners&so=desc... , the engine is not bad if the site is simple with standard functionality and you don’t need to go deep into the code. Cs-cart is still there but it’s not much cheaper will
